This encourages children to learn from each other and build knowledge and understanding. Small group sessions are often scheduled in which the teacher guides children to explore materials and solve problems. The teacher facilitates and guides the play to help achieve the desired learning outcomes. The children choose a learning area that interests them and work with resources and materials tailored to that specific theme. Our teachers set up a range of learning areas with different experiences and learning goals. During meals, the children not only learn table manners and how to eat healthfully, they engage.
